The Small Tisza Lake Eco Centre

The Small Tisza Lake Eco Centre was established in Tiszalök, on the bank of the fabulous Tisza Backwater. The centre provides an opportunity to learn more about the protected or highly protected flora and fauna of the Kenyérgyári Backwater and the surrounding areas. This territory is the habitat of several fish species, amphibians, molluscs, waterfowls and mammals. In the territory of the eco centre, a research and observation hall, as well as an interactive exhibition hall has been furnished in two separate buildings. In addition to the 2.5-km-long nature trail equipped with information boards, they help visitors explore the wonders of wildlife.

Parking is free of charge around the Eco Centre of Tiszalök. The facility is a 10-minute walk from the bus station and a 20-minute walk from the railway station.
