The first sugar museum in Hungary...

The Sugar Museum of Szerencs, which presents the 100-year-long history of the Sugar Factory of Szerencs, was the third sugar museum in Europe. In the building of the former “finance guard barracks”, there are tables illustrating the spread and technology of sugar production, as well as showcases and vitrines presenting the life of people who played an outstanding role in the development of beet sugar production.

The documents, objects and photos of the professional collection introduce the history of sugar production in Szerencs, as well as that of the everyday life and the holidays in the factory.
